Coming back at you from Europe with a fresh update from SFC France—and it feels like something is building 🔥
If you’ve been following along, you already know: the SFC movement in France isn’t just cruising—it’s gaining real momentum. There’s a strong pioneering spirit right now, and it was on full display during our early March “Chill / Back to Basics” weekend.
For the third year in a row, the French crew gathered in the cozy resort of Praz-de-Lys, and it was SFC at its best: real community, meaningful connection, shared faith, and yes—plenty of cheese fondue 🧀
We were hosted by the legends at Jeunesse Ardente, who have been faithfully investing in young people in the Haute-Savoie region since 1976. What a gift.
This year, the weekend was led by a new crew—Yann, Willi, MP, Sylvianne, and Marie—and they absolutely delivered. The location was dialed, the schedule flowed well, and the whole weekend carried a strong sense of joy and purpose. It was such a gift not only to be there, but to serve alongside them and encourage a new generation of riders who are all-in for Jesus.
One of the coolest parts of the weekend was how quickly everyone connected. Even with about half the group being new, it didn’t feel unfamiliar—it felt like family. And that’s exactly what it is. We’re united under one King—Jesus Christ—and you could see that in every part of the weekend: the conversations, the laughter, the prayer, and the time riding together.
People kept saying things like, “How have I never heard of this before?” and “We need more of this!” And honestly, that says a lot.
A special shoutout as well to LoĂŻc from Christian Surfers France, who shared powerful testimonies that pointed us right back to what matters most.
