We love Jesus. We love skiing and snowboarding. And we love the people of Snowshoe. During the winter months we host a Sunday morning service and a Sunday evening slope-side service. We welcome any and all to come hang out with us at Snowshoe and share in Jesus’ love and our love of the mountains!
While we strive to honor the intended purpose of every donation whenever possible, this contribution is made with the understanding that Snowboarders & Skiers for Christ and it’s board of directors has complete control and administration over the use of the donated funds.

What We Do
Jesus is moving in Snowshoe, WV! Our group has been meeting since 2018 and we’ve hosted a Sunday morning service and a Sunday evening slope-side service which consists of some praise/worship songs and a short message. We like to incorporate secular music that has a good message (think Tom Petty, Bob Marley,etc) as well as some hymns and contemporary Christian songs.
We have also done Christmas Eve caroling and free hot cocoa handout in the Snowshoe resort village for the past two years, handing out goodies to mountain employees weekly to thank them for working, youth ski/snowboard lessons, and a youth tubing outing.
We are working on some exciting projects and getting support and volunteering from local folks and businesses such as a used equipment drop-box that will be placed at a local rental/retail shop and can also be taken with us for events. This equipment will then be donated and repurposed to grow the ministry!
We have also built some great relationships with a couple of local churches whose members have been joining us at most all of our events and have been more than welcoming to invite us and anyone interested to church functions. We welcome any and all to come hang out with us at Snowshoe and share in Jesus’ love and our love of the mountains!
