“Therefore, it says, “Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Ephesians 5:14
The sun shines longer, our days are extended, and summer is pulling us near! A season of hibernation is coming to an end for nature, as furry animals awaken, and flowers pop out from the earth. Spring snow brings warm joyful days of snowboarding and skiing, especially in Mammoth this year! (Over 50 feet will keep our mountain open well into July!)
Winter was fun, but spring wakes up earth and brings growth. A new season can “wake us up” to exciting opportunities, many choices, transitions and growth in our own lives.
Jesus is always ready to wake up our hearts with His gift of salvation. When we choose to give Him our lives, we are no longer asleep in our sin. Freedom and victory ring loud in our hearts. A victorious heart is awakened to the fact that God has great purpose for our lives. We become aware that life does not revolve just around us. There is a dream in God’s heart for the whole world. He longs for people to know Him, for everyone’s hearts to wake up!
Our alert hearts begin to recognize those who are still asleep, who need to wake up to hope, to God’s love for them. Jesus is looking for awake and willing hearts; people, who will take action to partner with Him.
The season of hibernation is over, the light is shining. Are you awake?

-Is your heart asleep? Do you need Jesus to wake up your heart?
It is your choice, just say, “Jesus, I give you my life, wake up my heart, come into my life.” In an instant Jesus will open the eyes of your heart!
(Ephesians 1:18- 18 Open the eyes of their hearts, and let the light of Your truth flood in. Shine Your light on the hope You are calling them to embrace. Reveal to them the glorious riches You are preparing as their inheritance.)
