Opening Letter
Winter is here now for the northern hemisphere and everyone is in the busy season of the holidays, but take a few minutes with us to think back on the last year and the 2021/2022 season. Remembrance and celebration have always played a very important role in the life of Believers. This annual report is intended to give you, an SFC supporter and friend, a brief journey into the amazing work God is doing in communities around the world.
For SFC, the 2021/2022 winter marked what feels like an end to the “covid winter” that much of the world had been processing through since early 2020. This means that we had the chance to look for new opportunities and let new relationships flourish in and through our global communities.
We’re also continuing to monitor our progress towards our 10-Year Vision of making disciples in the ski culture in a way that takes the movement Higher (towards Jesus), Deeper (into both ski and church communities) and Wider (in more places around the world.) We have some exciting progress to report on these goals in the pages ahead.
